Beverage cart on the course Turn grill, grill room, and patio is available for lunch with social distancing.

Single carts are limited.  So if you want to ride in a single cart, please let Club Rep Linda Post know ASAP either by email or text.  Single carts will be allocated on a first ask, first serve basis.

 

Brentwood is also a walkable course.  If you want to walk, we have push carts that can be used, or you can bring your own push cart.  Please let Club Rep Linda Post  know if you plan to walk so that we can manage the use of the carts appropriately.  There is no discount on the play day fee for walkers.

Other Covid 19 information:

• If you enter the clubhouse, a mask must be worn.
• Two players may ride together if they are comfortable doing so.  NGAC has a limited number of carts so you might not be able to ride alone.  Let Debbie Conaster know if you are requesting a single cart.
• If you would like to bring your own push cart and walk, you may do so.  There are 3-4 hilly holes at NGAC but other than that, the course is fairly flat.
• The club requests that you leave the flagstick in the hole during the round.  There is nothing in the hole that will prevent the ball from dropping to the bottom of the hole.
• There are no rakes in the bunkers.  You may take free relief if you have a compromised lie in a bunker.

Games: Four Person Scramble* - The field limit is 68 players. Waitlist will be activated if the field is full.

NWGA Board Meeting will follow the round of golf starting at approximately 1:30.

 

Optional Lunch available after play for $23.60 (includes Chicken Salad/Turkey BLT wraps, sides, dessert, beverage, taxes, gratuity).  Pay for lunch when you pay for golf on the day of play.

* Game is Modified Stableford: A player's score for a hole is based on points earned by comparing the player's number of strokes on the hole to a fixed target (par).  The player who completes play with the most points wins the competition.  Since this is a net game, players in a Stableford competition should use full course handicaps, with strokes taken as they are allocated on the scorecard.  Points will be awarded as follows:

 

• -1 point for 2 or more over par (double bogey or worse)
• 0 points for 1 over par (bogey)
• 1 point for par
• 2 points for 1 under par (birdie)
• 3 points for 2 under par (eagle)
• 4 points for 3 under par (albatross)
• 5 points for a hole in one

 

For example, on a par 5 hole where a player gets a stroke, she makes a gross birdie.  That would give her a net eagle.  She would earn 3 points on the hole.  If the player makes a gross bogey on a hole that she gets a stroke on, she would have a net par.  She would earn 1 point on the hole.

 

Please keep track of your Gross Score by hole.  Golf Genius will calculate 8 places in each of two flights (Flight A - GHIN Index of 17.0 or less,  Flight B - GHIN Index greater than 17.0).  There will be no low gross winners on this day.
